Otto Goes to the Big Stadium
Otto is going to a real stadium for the very first time!
Today was a very special day. Dylan the turtle was taking Otto to the big stadium to watch a real football match!
Otto wore his black scarf and cap. βReady?β asked Dylan. βReady!β said Otto. They hopped on the bus, and off they went.
The stadium was HUGE. There were flags, drums and thousands of happy people. βWow,β whispered Otto. His eyes were as round as footballs.
They found their seats and shared a bag of popcorn. Down below, the players ran out onto the bright green grass. Everybody jumped up and CHEERED!
The ball zoomed this way. The ball zoomed that way. Otto cheered so loudly that his voice went all squeaky. βGO, GO, GO!β
Then the whole crowd went quiet. A player took a shot... And the ball flew into the net! GOAL! Otto hugged Dylan so tightly.
On the bus home, Otto got sleepier and sleepier. βBest day ever,β he yawned, snuggled up against Dylan, and dreamed of goals.
