Pip and the Great Big ACHOO
Pip has a tickly nose. When the sneeze finally comes, it’s the biggest sneeze ever!
Pip the penguin was walking through the meadow when a bit of pepper floated right under his nose. Tickle, tickle, tickle. Pip’s nose twitched. ‘Oh no,’ he said.
‘A... A... A...’ said Pip. Tariq the tiger and Dot the deer looked up. ‘A... A... A...’ said Pip, wobbling. ‘Is Pip going to sneeze?’ whispered Tariq.
‘A... A... A... CHOOOOO!’ It was the biggest sneeze in the world. It was so big that all the hats in the meadow flew up into the air! WHOOSH!
Tariq was blown backwards. Dot spun in a circle like a top. Pip was blown the other way, and landed on his bottom in a muddy puddle. ‘Oof!’ said Pip.
There was a silence. Then Tariq started to giggle. Then Dot giggled. Soon all three were rolling on the grass, laughing so hard that their tummies hurt.
‘Bless you!’ said Tariq. Pip grinned. He wiped his nose and looked at the hats, fluttering down everywhere. ‘That,’ he said, ‘was the best sneeze ever.’
