Zane’s Biggest Sneeze in the World
Zane has a tickly nose. When the sneeze finally comes, it’s the biggest sneeze ever!
Zane the zebra was walking through the meadow when a puff of flour floated right under his nose. Tickle, tickle, tickle. Zane’s nose twitched. ‘Oh no,’ he said.
‘A... A... A...’ said Zane. Finn the frog and Louie the lamb looked up. ‘A... A... A...’ said Zane, wobbling. ‘Is Zane going to sneeze?’ whispered Finn.
‘A... A... A... CHOOOOO!’ It was the biggest sneeze in the world. It was so big that all the picnic plates in the meadow flew up into the air! WHOOSH!
Finn was blown backwards. Louie spun in a circle like a top. Zane was blown the other way, and landed on his bottom in a muddy puddle. ‘Oof!’ said Zane.
There was a silence. Then Finn started to giggle. Then Louie giggled. Soon all three were rolling on the grass, laughing so hard that their tummies hurt.
‘Bless you!’ said Finn. Zane grinned. He wiped his nose and looked at the picnic plates, fluttering down everywhere. ‘That,’ he said, ‘was the best sneeze ever.’
