Elsa and the Leaf Pile
The leaves are falling in a rainbow. Elsa and friends gather the biggest leaf pile.
The trees were wearing red, orange and gold. All day, leaves floated down, tick, tick, tick. Elsa and Dani the deer took rakes to the garden. βLetβs make a leaf pile!β said Elsa.
They raked and raked. The pile grew as tall as Dani. Then as tall as Elsa. Then Leo the little bird popped out of the pile. βSurprise!β he laughed. Leo had been napping inside.
βLetβs jump!β said Elsa. One, two, three, and WHOOSH! They flew into the leaves. Crunch! Leaves flew everywhere like confetti. They giggled so much they couldnβt stop.
When they were tired, they sat down and made a leaf picture from the prettiest leaves. Elsa found a golden one the size of a plate. βLook at this!β she cried.
As the sun went down, a gust of wind blew the leaf pile all over again. βLetβs do it again tomorrow!β said Dani. And they did.
